FROM THE PRINCIPAL'S DESK

Achievements, Rewards, Performances actions, winning energy, spirit ambition and passion for excellence all these united to form LEAD CONVENT. The greatest achievement of a human being is to impart knowledge and to be able to bring another out from the darkness of ignorance into the light of knowledge. My years as a principal have taught me this.
Educating the young mind is a noble task. Both teachers and parents have a sacred task of preparing the young children to become educated and disciplined citizens of tomorrow thereby helping to build a better Nation.
We teachers play an important role in moulding, building, guiding and educating the children in the classrooms, on the fields, in any extracurricular activity held in school so that they develop mentally and physically, at the same time develop respect and appreciation of their cultural heritage.
Complete education entails physical, mental psychological and spiritual development. Keeping this in mind more systematic form of assemblies are held where the students are presented with a single thought and theme on social as well as ethical responsibilities. These assemblies help our students to look deeper within themselves and find their personal goals and strength.
On the extracurricular front the students participated in various inter-school competitions held over the year and won several prizes. Various clubs in our school organized a wide range of activities for our students like collage, spelling, fancy dress, poster making, slogan writing etc. The winners were given prizes and certificate of participation to all. Students should always keep in mind that whatever you learn, learn for yourself, no one can learn for you. Never lose curiosity, it what keep your mind agile. If you are through with learning you are through.
My endeavour will always be to take this school to a higher ground, to make not just Shahjahanpur but the entire country proud. May God bless Lead convent and always Shower us with his love and affection, May his presence be felt within each one of us so that the Lead family may serve God and our glorious country to the fullest.
By the grace of God, I hope and wish that in the coming year our students rise to height of pre-eminence and leave their permanent mark. Let us look forward to the coming year with greater hope and promise. At Lead Convent we not only take care of child but also make them learn to lead others behind.
I would like to conclude by the motivating lines of Poet Robert Frost –
“The woods are lovely, dark and deep, But I have promises to keep, And miles to go before I sleep, And miles to go before I sleep….” Today, let us not rest on our laurels, but pledge to take the school to even greater heights.
