The greatest achievement of a human being is to impart knowledge and to be able to being another out from the darkness of ignorance into the light of knowledge.
It has been well said that if a person is to be shaped well than he should be moulded when he is young. Keeping this notion in mind Mr. Mohd. Jamal the founder chairman started the school in the loving memory of his father Late Mr. Shafiullah, the well known business tycoon in carpets.
The school was established on 1st July 2003 with 10 students and 4 classes Pre-Nursery, Nursery, K.G and 1st with a view to give better education and healthy environment to the children at very nominal cost.
Aarzoo Jamal was our first student and gradually by the end of the session 2003-2004 the number rose upto 35.
Since its very inception the aim of this institution has been all round development of each and every child and imbibe in him the Indian culture and heritage. Our curriculam has been planned in such a way that apart from studies it has sufficient space for extra curricular activities too. The idea of dividing the students into four houses was to inculcate the feeling of competition in them which would help them in being outspoken and smart. The houses were named after the great leaders of India- Gandhi, Tagore, Nehru and Shashtri which was added later in the session 2013-2014.
Ambition is the pathway to success, and if one has the qualities of courage, determination and perseverance there is no goal which is unachievable. Following this idealistic virtue LEAD CONVENT School today has grown into a middle school with approximately 700 students in a spacious and well ventilated building. A strongly founded, complete infrastructure of the institution had been chalked out with a team of thirty talented and selflessly dedicated teachers.
